Full Description: A rare, white ground rug with strong graphic character and a cheerful palette. The large Memling medallions ascend on a snow-white field that is covered with a random assortment of whimsical rosettes, stars, arrows and crosses. Boxes in the border alternate with tree forms and are diagonally divided into triangular sections of green, blue, yellow and red. The pile is excellent and the selveges are original.
