Shahsavan Djidjim bag
Northwestern Persia
A small hole, slight traces of usage.
Size 95 x 25 cm
This bag can also be made from a separate Djidjim railway. The fine weave and the use of silk testify to Weber’s high demands. Harmonious color composition with different green tones, dark brown, violet, red and a light apricot.

Antique Shahsavan Bag Panel
Northwest, Persia. 19th Century, 11 1/2 and 13 1/3 inch Long by 13 wide (when open).
Structure: Very fine Sumac.
Yarn Spin: Z.
Warp: 2 ply Wool, white.
Weft: 2 ply Wool red), 2 shoots.
Ends: Reduced on edges.
Selvages: Reduced on edges.
Further Notes: The outer edges are raged and can be cleaned up easily the main panel from the main border in is in excellent condition. The range of color is excellent and there is very little sign of wear.
